MillenniuM Announces 2007 Production

This year MillenniuM will tell you a story… the story of a crew of men who set sails with the aim of "buscar el Levante por el Poniente". This is the story that brought Christopher Columbus to the new world. "1492: Mundus Novus" will tell our audience about what happened to those brave men who traveled through the unknown until they discovered a new continent. Going beyond their limits gave them immortality.

In Palos everything is going smoothly. Everybody is busy bringing goods on the ships, waiting to leave for a legendary trip. But once they are in the open seas it is clear that it will not be easy. Sudden storms make the sailors’ mood change frequently. After weeks of navigation the crew is exhausted, every day the expectation of catching land is high but nothing happens. The night right before the arrival the crew prays the lord for help.
