BYBA On The Road 2007 8/1 Update
Day three of the Tour saw the two bands Warwick & Poynton performing in Teignmouth Devon.
After an earlier than expected start to the day due to a Coffee morning at the Church where the bands were staying, both groups made use of the warm sunny weather to rehearse at a nearby sports centre before having some free time on the beach and a much needed shower before departing to the evening venue in Teignmouth.
Conditions at Teignmouth seafront were excellent and a field was quickly marked out.
The bands warmed up before parading down the promonade to the performance area situated behind the pier.
A large crowd of between 350 to 500 people were treated to great performances from both bands and speaking to the locals and holiday makers, nothing but compliments and positive comments were heard.
One woman contrasted the great work of BYBA with the mindless yobs who had burnt down the two seafront shelters just two days earlier.
So another day, more happy holiday makers and more lessons learnt.
