Dr. Ray Vasquez Named Spirit Brass Caption Head

Spirit is pleased to welcome Dr. Ray Vasquez as Brass Caption Head for the 2008 season. Dr. Vasquez returns to Spirit after spending the 2007 season on the brass staff of the Santa Clara Vanguard. He currently teaches the applied trumpet studio and the Jazz Ensemble at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama.

"I am honored to get an opportunity to work the Spirit horn line again. I have very high expecations and aspirations for the corps this season," says Vasquez.
