CorpsVets Tuition Fees Slashed

| |

In a move to help returning members and ’09 prospective members, the CorpsVets Board of Directors has slashed the 2009 season tuition amount by 25%. "We have benefited by some aggressive fundraising by members of the corps" said longtime Board member Ken Huff, "and we want to pass this good fortune on to our membership." The CorpsVets will not only reduce overall tuition this season but have also added a new line of King Ultimate Marching Brass Instruments to be delivered this month (read related press release…). The board also approved an additional out of town performance for the summer, suggested by the creative staff to maximize the competitive potential of the 2009 production Southern Suite.

This is going to be an amazing year for the Atlanta CorpsVets" stated Executive Director Dr. Dave Stollberg, "we offer excellent instruction, instruments, and value in an all-age drum and bugle corps. If you are looking for an experience of a lifetime, we have one waiting for you.

This summer the corps plans to travel to Bridgeport, CT, Lewisburg, PA, Valdosta, GA, Orlando, FL, Nashville, TN and DCA Championships in Rochester, NY. Locally CV will be seen at the DCI Southeastern Championships in the Georgia Dome, the Drum Corps Rocks the South show in August, and at numerous local parades and festivals.  There are still openings in the corps for the 2009 season, information on membership can be obtained by emailing info [at] CorpsVets [dot] org or calling 770-656-1396.
