Cadets Alumni Honored For Their Military Service

The Cadets honored three veterans as part of the Cadets Hall of Honored Veterans on June 29 at the Drum Corps – An American Tradition show at The College of New Jersey in Ewing. The inaugural program celebrates Cadets throughout the corps’ history that wore Maroon and Gold, and also honorably served in our country’s Armed Forces.

Recognized Tuesday were brothers Frank and Edward Patrisso, founding members of The Cadets who, along with their brother Nick, left the ranks of the drum corps to join the US Navy in the early 1940s. Also honored posthumously was Greg Zwarycz, a Vietnam veteran who was the recipient of a Purple Heart and The Distinguished Flying Cross, among many other accolades.
