In The News: Bugle Band At The Baths
Everybody’s heard of singing in the shower – but a Poynton band are bugling in the baths.
It is not unusual to find The Commodores Drum and Bugle Corps in the shallow end of one of the magnificent swimming pools at Manchester’s Victoria Baths.
The musicians stumbled upon the unusual venue on Hathersage Road, Longsight, which featured on the BBC’s Restoration series, after searching high and low for somewhere to practise.
