Crossmen Welcome Naffier And Buckingham To Lead Brass Team

Fred Morrison, Executive Director / Corps Director, and Jaime Alvarez-Calderon, Program Coordinator of the Crossmen are pleased to announce Chuck Naffier as Brass Arranger and Consultant, and Jason Buckingham as the Brass Caption Head.

Chuck Naffier has been writing professionally for the marching arts for over 20 years. In his focused efforts with brass, he has arranged and taught at all levels of the drum corps activity.

He aged out in 1984 as the Colts’ soprano soloist, and received the Outstanding Performer award. From 1985 – 1999 he served in many capacities including brass tech, caption head, arranger/composer and program coordinator. During that time he was part of a team that propelled the Colts into Finals for the first time ever, and continued that level of success 6 out of 7 years from 1993 – 1999. In 2003 he joined the 40th Anniversary Colts Hall of Fame.
