Higher Score For Jubal In Atlanta

Jubal Drum & Bugle Corps from Dordrecht saw its scores shoot up on Saturday in Atlanta compared to the contest in Gadsden – Alabama two days earlier. The corps increased its score by nearly seven points: from 64.90 to 71.80 points.

Jubal enjoyed the air conditioning in the impressive stadium in Atlanta. “The Georgia Dome is a bit like a refridgerator that you get into when you come from the hot weather outside, great conditions for a performance,” according to the corps members. “That coolness has certainly helped Jubal, as it was the heat which the corps struggled with in recent contests and which prevented them from reaching a good level of achievement.”
