The Spartans Drum and Bugle Corps set off Friday night for its cross-country tour, to perform a dramatized take on Igor Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite. The Cascades have posted video of member Greg Power, the winner of the 2012 DCI fastest drummer competition in San Antonio, TX. He was the very last contestant, and beat this year’s previous record by 12 beats, with a total of 923 singles in 60 seconds. Watch the video here.
