2014 Carolina Crown April Camp Wrap Up

carolina_crown_100x100The final Crown rehearsal camp was a huge success with the brass, percussion and guard all in Fort Mill, NC for the weekend. It was a busy time for all the members as the brass learned the final production piece, the guard spots were set and the percussion put together the remainder of their feature.

The highlight for the members took place on Saturday night when the new corps and guard uniforms were revealed to the approval of all. “From the response I hear I am assuming you approve,” stated Executive Director Jim Coates while the corps members clapped and cheered as the uniform was displayed for all to see. That evening, the design team led by Keith Potter, Leon May, Michael Townsend and Rosie Queen, made some final adjustments to the guard uniforms. Both designs that have been perfected with Crown partner, Fred J. Miller.
