Racine Scouts: Calling All Alumni, Volunteers

| |

racine_scouts_100x100With the 2014 summer tour less than two months away, and with an extensive performance/travel schedule, the Racine Scouts are actively seeking additional volunteers to assist with any of the tasks necessary to ensuring the members have a fantastic summer experience. Whether it’s cooking a meal during spring training or on the road, helping with uniforms, or even taking a turn driving, the Scouts would love to have you be a part of supporting America’s oldest active drum & bugle corps.

Corps Tour Director, Marc Gofstein, explains the need for additional support. “Our 2014 schedule is considerably busier than last year,” he said. “And, while we have some wonderful volunteers ready to take care of the kids, we could definitely use a few extra hands to make sure everything flows as smoothly and seamlessly as possible.”

There is no specific time commitment required, nor any extraordinary talents needed; just a desire to help a great group of kids in whatever way you want and/or can. The best part is that you’ll get first-hand experience in helping make the 2014 Racine Scouts season successful.

To get involved, or for more information, contact Tour Director Marc Gofstein: marc [at] racinescouts [dot] com, or call 614-530-6778.

As America’s oldest active drum & bugle corps since 1927, the Racine Scouts are a 501c3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to educating youth in fine arts while providing a place where they can grow as performers, and develop as young men & women.
