Carolina Crown Guard Members At 2015 WGI

carolina_crown_100x100Winter guard season has come to a close with hundreds of performers fulfilling the dream of performing at WGI Finals at the University of Dayton arena. As we look toward this weekend’s auditions for the 2015 Crown Guard, it’s amazing to see the number of WGI performers who also marched in the Crown Guard.

Crown Guard caption supervisor Michael Townsend was part of the design team for Bronze Medal Guard Pride of Cincinnati. Eleven current and former Crown Guard members performed with Pride, including five-year member Sally Ware. Sally looked at this past winter as a bit of a Crown reunion. “Marching with ten other crown members this past winter was such an amazing experience,” said Sally. “It’s always so fun to get to know people on a different level and in a new environment.”
