2015-2016 Field Band Foundation Report To Society Highlights

Highlights of the 2015-2016 Report to Society include:

We operated 48 bands in 24 localities and, through an active recruitment campaign, increased average band membership to 140 members each (2014: 137). This year sees active membership of 6 742 youngsters attending an average two rehearsals a week (up from 6 586 members last year).
This year’s member numbers mark the Foundation’s highest impact yet, and our 2016 cohort will swell an alumni of more than 40 000 young South Africans who have passed through our ranks over 19 years – 23 800 for a minimum of three years each – in 79 600 years of developmental training.
