Starriders Anniversary Reception

On 07.12.18 exactly 50 years after the founding event of the Turner Spielmannzug in 1968, a festive champagne reception took place in the TUSPO clubhouse. It was looked back on 50 years of music in the TUSPO and now 35 years of Starriders.

Angelika Heisterberg reviewed the founding time again. Ingo Tiede took over the retrospective of the nineties with the heavy stand for the minstrels and the resulting founding of the Starriders Drum & Bugle Corps. Anke Bösling then looked back at the first year of Starrider’s first trip to London and the first championship title. Melanie Schiebler and Monika Hinrichs recalled the beginning of the 2000s. At the turn of the millennium, for example, the Blue Devils from the USA visited the Starriders. The conclusion of the review formed Kerstin Schulze (1st Chairman of Starrider) and Gordon Gerl, who pointed out the transition to the current and future Corps.
