Southwind Gets Early Start On 2020, Announces Design Team

Fresh off its breakout 2019 season, Southwind plans to make new waves in 2020. Last season, the corps climbed the ranks of Open Class with conceptual show design and a continued emphasis on crowd-pleasing performances.

“Last season was great for us. The crowds loved us. We were named DCI’s most-improved corps, and we came close to climbing into DCI’s Top 25,” offers Lawrence LeClaire, Corps Director. “We really turned heads with our show, Caged. So immediately after Indianapolis, we asked ourselves, ‘How can we build on our success?’”
