Columbus Saints End Of 2020 Competitive Season COVID-19

| |

In line with the decision made by Drum Corps International, and Drum Corps Associates, the Columbus Saints Performing Arts Inc is ending all competitive activities for the season. Public health restrictions permitting, we will reorganize to welcome all performers to participate in any potential late summer parades as a way to bring the community together with music.

This decision was made based on the results of DCI, and DCA, and our primary goal of preserving member health and welfare. With increased challenges due to reservation of facilities, reduced and canceled grant funding, the canceling of parades and community events, and our members and Saints family’s personal challenges due to loss and reduced employment.

We want to thank the community, fans, donors, local educators, our staff, and all of our Saints family for their support in 2020. While we are disappointed in the outcome of the 2020 season, we are using this time to continue the organizational transformation set forth in 2020, and addressing outstanding financial commitments.

The 2021 season will begin with our “Open House Part 1” on Saturday, November 21st, and “Open House Part 2 – Return of the Funk!” on Saturday, December 12th, 830AM – 7 PM, with location to be announced closer to the event. For more details please visit http://columbussaints.org/drumcorps
