OWA – Winter 2021
Empower Youth in the Performing Arts and OWA continued to work together to provide performance opportunities for area college age musicians. For the third year in a row, we provided Christmas carolers for OWA Downtown and Theme Park. For three weekends in December, park guests were greeted as they entered in the park by an a cappella quartet of Music Majors and Minors from the University of South Alabama. A portion of the proceeds went to fund Empower Youth in the Performing Arts and our flagship organization, Southwind. Park management told us that the guests loved the live music, and the carolers said they thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
