Academy Celebrates 20th Anniversary With Launch Of “20 For 20”

2021 marks the Twentieth Anniversary of The Academy Drum and Bugle Corps – from its humble beginnings as a brass ensemble to the World Class corps it is today.

Beginning Tuesday May 11th, each day for 20 days, The Academy will present a short video recounting the highlights of each year along the journey.

This will all culminate with an hour-long Virtual Gala on Sunday May 30th at 1:00 PM Pacific Time (4:00 PM ET). Fun and entertaining, the Gala will include insights and looks at fan-favorite shows and moments over the years.

In addition, Artistic Director Lindsey Vento will present an exclusive reveal of the program and uniform for the 2021 season!

The focus of the 20th Anniversary Celebration will be to raise funds for a new food truck, for completion in time for the full return to the drum corps experience in 2022.
