THAT! Returns For SoundSport 2022

Want the opportunity to participate in SoundSport but don’t have the time or desire to spend months rehearsing? Want to be a part of a group that epitomizes the objective of the SoundSport activity; perform an entertaining, audience-focused show? Want to see the world (actually just Indiana, but we have to hook you in somehow)?

THAT! is for you. We are a different kind of SoundSport team. We come from all over the country for one week to create and perform a fun show in the tradition of such groups as the Bridgemen, VK, and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir – minus the last one.

We meet on the Monday of DCI Championship week to learn the show, which we then perform at the annual SoundSport Festival taking place on Championship Saturday outside of Lucas Oil Stadium. In addition, DCI often has us perform at other events as ambassadors for SoundSport.

We welcome all instruments (and the people who play them), guard, or even folks who want to do something during the show that doesn’t involve an instrument or guard equipment (there are plenty of things happening throughout our performance). You can choose to march, or just stand still and save your energy.

Best part, you can be from anywhere since we don’t start anything until we meet in Indiana.

Even more best (yes, it’s bad grammar, but appropriate)…it only costs $350 for the week, plus another $20 (approximately) for the stylish uniform (an orange t-shirt with the logo). The fee gets you hotel for the week, most meals, a ticket to Finals, and a lifetime of memories from knowing you performed a great show that will be loved by everyone.
