MPAUK Safeguarding and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion sessions

For 2023, as part of the conditions of membership for both DCUK (& our sister organisation Winter Guard United Kingdom), Member Organisations are now required to attend introductory online sessions on two very important subjects. The first being about Safeguarding and the second about Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.

Over the past few weeks four Zoom sessions have been run, under the banner of Marching and Performing Arts UK, two on each subject, and over 50 people have taken part on each subject with the presentation information being made available to attendees straight after. In addition, each session was recorded and these have now also been made available to all attendees to help our member organisations ensure they and their staff have knowledge and information to assist them in passing this information on.

Further sessions will be planned to include more advanced information.
