DCUK SoundSport event dates 2026

Winter Guard UK (WGUK) has just announced the dates for their 2026 season contests.

Venue details will be formally approved, finalised and announced after the WGUK Board Meeting but for now next in the UK winter looks like this…

Sunday 18th January – Stoke

Sunday 1st February – Liverpool

Sunday 8th February – Wivenhoe

Sunday 1st March – Worcester

Sunday 15th March – Burgess Hill

Sunday 22nd March – Leeds

Saturday 4th April – WGUK Championships (University of Worcester Arena)

After a successful inaugural winter season this year we are excited to confirm that all WGUK contests next year will once again also incorporate DCUK SoundSport events. We are also considering, depending on the number of SoundSport units that come on board in 2026, holding SoundSport only events maybe late April and possibly into May.

One new initiative also being planned for next year is to incorporate sessions at the WGUK Spintastic training event 2026 for SoundSport. This would include sessions/training for performing members as well as admin based subjects like show design plus safeguarding and fundraising. This event normally takes place May/June time on both the Saturday and Sunday and as soon as we have the details they will be announced.
