Drum Corps World Launches Mobile Edition
We are proud to announce our new, streamlined, small-screen DCW Mobile edition, designed to make our popular Drum Corps World issues responsive to phones, tablets, iPads, and laptops. Mobile devices are here to stay, and we’ve listened to reader feedback. We have responded with an easier to read edition for small devices. The familiar desktop “flip-page” version isn’t going anywhere—drum corps fans now have a choice of formats for the most pleasurable reading experience. The mobile version even runs on desktops if you prefer, providing you with even more options.
Our first DCW Mobile edition is being released this week along with our scheduled October 2025 issue. You can find it here https://t.ly/XuThI, by scanning the QR code below, or by going to our updated home page at https://drumcorpsworld.com, shown here.
Just open DCW Mobile and you will see just how friendly it is, right out of the box! In addition, October’s DCW Mobile release includes details on how to configure your mobile device for preferred text size, light/dark mode, foreign language translation (because Drum Corps World is global), and even read-back on many popular browsers.
Features include:
- Fast, scroll-first reading on small screens
- Short snippets to peruse with READ MORE links to full articles
- Simple navigation from a clean side menu, scrolling, and a progress bar
- Selectable menu options organized by topic: Features, DCI Corner, History, Corps News, Interviews, Sponsors, and more
- Quick Links to a feedback form that formats email directly to our support team, plus a Drum Corps World staff directory
- Responsive to your device and browser settings
“We built Drum Corps Mobile after listening to you, our readers. It keeps the content you love—show reviews, corps news, interviews, history, photos and global coverage—while making it easier to read, anywhere and on any device. We’re proud to continue our more than 50-year tradition as your premier source of everything drum corps. We’re eager to hear what you think of DCW Mobile, so check it out and let us know how we can make it even better!” – Steve Vickers, Publisher
Drum corps enthusiasts are invited to check out DCW Mobile and tell us what you think. We’re proud of the new addition to our popular drum corps publications and we’re confident you will enjoy perusing articles on your phone or tablet, wherever you may be. And watch for new and exciting features in the months to come, like a Drum Corps AI Agent, embedded video, and more!
