Wave Makers: Sierra Stark
While most toddlers were still finding their footing, Sierra Stark was already finding her rhythm. A native of Murrieta, CA, Sierra’s journey in dance and color guard began at just two years old, giving her a literal lifetime of performance experience long before she ever stepped onto the drum corps field.
For Sierra, joining Pacific Crest felt less like an audition and more like a homecoming. “PC was the first corps I’d ever heard of,” she recalls. Having attended a high school staffed by alumni, she grew up captivated by stories of the corps’ unique culture. Now in her second year as a veteran, she’s found those descriptions were spot on.
