In The News: Crossmen Making A Return To Brush

Last year, Tom Schemp, a volunteer with the Drums Along the Rockies program, said that if he had anything to do with it, Brush would again serve as a practice site for a drum and bugle corps.

That statement is ringing true as the Crossmen Drum & Bugle Corps, now of San Antonio, Texas, will be taking to the fields at Brush High School on July 27 where they will practice for the upcoming event to be held July 28 at Invesco Field at Mile High Stadium in Denver.

A Division I drum and bugle corps formerly of Allentown, Pennsylvania, the Crossmen are currently the only Division 1 DCI member from the State of Texas, as well as one of the top corps in the world. The corps also has placed in the Drum Corps International (DCI) World Championship Finals 22 times in the history of the corps.
