From European Symposium To National Meetings

DCE will stop organising the European drum corps symposium. Attendance at the event, however useful, was disappointing in the past few years. DCE hopes to be able to reach more corps through the congresses of the national partner organisations.

At the symposium, which was held in London for the past few years, Drum Corps Europe offered corps the opportunity to exchange thoughts with each other and with the organisations. This lead to meaningful discussions about topics like amplification, judging and organisational matters. Unfortunately the turnout was disappointing. The symposium was a regular little get together between a handful of English and Dutch corps.
