Drum Corps World has published continuously since October 1971, first as a tabloid newspaper, then transitioning to the Internet in May 2011. Each year a total of 17 issues are created, monthly plus e-mail blasts featuring show coverage and current photography during the summer, weekly between the June, July and August issues. Issues range from 16 to 110 pages.

Growing from an initial circulation of 6,000, DCW how reaches nearly 32,000 corps, guard and indoor percussion directors, alumni, fans, participants, music educators, board members and parents.

This summer a total of 10 issues will be available on Fridays, dated June (released June 7), June 28, July (July 5), July 12, 19, 26, August (August 2), August 16 (post-DCI coverage), September (September 13, post-DCA coverage) and October (October 11, European championships).

Signing up is simple. Go to www.drumcorpsworld.com, click on the cover of the most recent issue in the upper right hand cover of the front page and you’ll be taken to the registration screen where you can enter your name and e-mail address. By clicking “submit,” you’ll then see a page asking how you prefer to receive it — the full computer version or the mobile version for phone or tablet. On that same page is a pull-down menu where you can select any of the electronic editions released since May 2011.
