SCV 2009 Percussion Audition Packets Now Available, DVD Coming Soon

Electronically downloadable audition packets for the battery section (snares, tenors, basses, cymbals) and front ensemble are now available for purchase through Tapspace Publications. These revolutionary new audition packets contain video (30 minutes for cymbals and over 2 hours for the drums!) as well as accompanying PDF files containing music and instruction. Murray Gusseck (battery caption manager) and Leo Sanchez (cymbal instructor), give the video lessons for snare/tenor/bass and cymbals, respectively.

Now, for the first time, audition candidates can have the opportunity to study SCV’s unique technique program prior to auditioning!
