Final Days At Cadets Spring Training Busier Than Ever

Summer drum corps is cranking up in Johnstown, Pa., as the Cadets spend their final days at Spring Training working the show, expressing thanks to the community, recording a CD and putting the final stitches on each uniform that includes the sentimental Holy Name patch dating to 1934.

The Cadets depart Johnstown on Monday, June 15th to start their exciting 75th Anniversary journey, but plenty remains to be accomplished in the coming days, according to Assistant Director Justin Heimbecker. Highest on the priority list is rehearsals and continuous work on Conflict and Resolution, the corps’ 2009 field program.
