New York Skyliners Alumni Corps announces 2025 Staff

As the corps continues its preparation for the upcoming “America’s Hometown Thanksgiving Celebration” in Plymouth, Mass., the New York Skyliners Alumni Drum and Bugle Corps has solidified and is pleased to announce the instructional and administrative staffs for the 2025 season.

The corps is excited to welcome back John Molloy as Brass Caption Head. John was previously with the corps from 2020 through 2023. He replaces Bob Relyea who is extremely busy with adjudicating in the band circuit. The corps would like to thank Bob for his service and have nominated him for membership in the World Drum Corps Hall of Fame, in recognition for his years of devotion to the advancement of drum and bugle corps.

The 2025 instructional staff is as follows:

    • Rich “Red” Wardlow – brass tech
    • Brad Coleman – brass tech
    • Bill Moore – brass tech
    • Rob Lais – brass tech
  • Percussion:
    • Wes Myers – Caption Head
    • Jack Murray – percussion tech
    • Bob “Jomba” O’Connor – percussion tech
    • Joe Musich – percussion tech
  • Drum Major:
    • James Russo
    • Bob “Jomba” O’Connor

The corps has been rehearsing the 2025 music program as previously announced, for the inaugural performance in Plymouth on Nov 23. It consists of:

  • “Manhattan Tower” (Opening Fanfare) by Gordon Jenkins
  • “Little Old New York” by Jerry Brock
  • “Second Rhapsody” by George Gershwin
  • “Alabama Jubilee” by George Cobb
  • “Lullaby of Broadway” by Harry Warren
  • “Give My Regard to Broadway” by George M. Cohan and “42nd Street” by Harry Warren
  • “SKY Signature” (excerpt from “Every Streets a Boulevard) by Jule Styne
  • “The ELKS Parade” by Bobby Sherwood

The corps administration is:
