Josh Thye appointed Academy Executive Director

The Academy Drum and Bugle Corps, a nationally recognized organization dedicated to excellence in music and the performing arts, proudly announces the appointment of Mr. Josh Thye as Executive Director, effective June 1, 2025.

Mr. Thye brings an impressive portfolio of experience in music education, leadership, and community engagement. Currently serving as the Coordinator of Fine and Performing Arts for the Tempe Union High School District in Arizona, he holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of Arizona, a Master’s degree in Administration from the University of Phoenix, and a Master’s in Instrumental Conducting from the American Band College of Sam Houston State University.
