DCI’s SoundSport helps DCUK revitalize programs, surpass expectations in 2025

After COVID drastically decreased Drum Corps United Kingdom’s (DCUK) membership, the organization shifted its focus indoors, utilizing Drum Corps International’s flexible SoundSport format to host a series of events this past winter in conjunction with the British winter guard circuit.

This effort to keep the activity alive turned out much better than expected. Alan Thompson, chair of Marching & Performing Arts UK says that turnout surpassed expectations, setting the stage for continued growth and revitalization in the years to come. DCI’s Steve Rondinaro reports.
