Forward Performing Arts Launches Advisory Council to Support Strategic Growth Plans

Forward Performing Arts today announced the formation of its Advisory Council, a select group of leaders who will provide strategic insight and external perspective to support the continued growth of the organization and its music educational program, including the Madison Scouts Drum & Bugle Corps.

The Advisory Council has been established to offer guidance to organizational leadership on strategic initiatives, partnerships, visibility, and long-term sustainability. Members will work alongside the Executive Director, Programs Director, and the Board of Directors.

The founding Advisory Council members include:

Dan Acheson, former Chief Executive Officer of Drum Corps International and Madison Scouts alumnus
Dann Petersen, Music Engagement and Outreach Coordinator at the Mead Witter School of Music at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, former Madison Scouts Corps Director (2007–2020), Madison Scouts alumnus, and long-time instructor
Nick Monzi, CEO & Co-Founder of Learn Fresh, Professor at Syracuse University Falk College of Sport, former Madison Scouts instructor and staff coordinator
