Pennsylvania Drum Corps Hall Of Fame Accepting 2010 Nominations
The Pennsylvania Drum Corps Hall of Fame is presently accepting Nomination Forms from those who would like to recommend someone (themselves or others) for Induction into the Pennsylvania Drum Corps Hall of Fame. Presently our membership totals 214 members at various levels of membership. For those of you who may be unfamiliar with our level system, I will offer a brief explanation. Our level system is a fresh and new approach to honor those who have put their "sweat equity" into this activity that we all hold so dear. It is also our attempt to help perpetuate our activity by recognizing those who have, through their dedicated participation, served their Drum Corps, as well as this activity with a minimum of 5 years of service in 1 Drum Corps whether that may have been in the past or the present.
This activity could be in any level of Drum Corps here in Pennsylvania be it Junior, All-Age, Parade and/or Alumni Corps. This would entitle such individual Induction into the PaDCHOF at Level 1 (Associate Membership). Any years of dedicated service to any Drum Corps throughout the activity after the initial 5 years of dedicated service to a Pennsylvania Drum Corps, whether it be in Pennsylvania or elsewhere to a total of 15 years would entitle the individual Induction to our Level 2 (Full Time Membership). When the individual has been a member of any Drum Corps either here in Pennsylvania or elsewhere, this would entitle the individual access to Level 3 (Life Time Membership). This Level system allows for movement from a lower level of membership to the next highest level of membership based on the number of years of service rendered.

Just print out a copy of the Nomination Form with as much information as you can possibly think of and either email the form to PennsylvaniaDCHOF [at] comcast [dot] net or snail mail the form to the address listed at the bottom of page 4 of the Nomination Form. All those who choose to snail mail the form, it must be postmarked no later then January 1, 2010.
Thus far we have received 26 Nomination Forms with many illustrious people included in this latest packet of nominees as well as a number of people who hopefully will be Inducted into our Associate Level. And it is expected that at least 10 more Nomination Forms to be received in the next few days. So if there is someone you think should be inducted please go to our website, print out a nomination form, fill it out and get it to us as soon as possible. We will have our certification committee verify its veracity and notify all those who meet our requirements and criteria for membership.
