July 22: SCVC In Elko, Nevada

The day in Elko, Nevada was warm, about 97 degrees. But as everyone likes to say, it didn’t feel that warm since it was a "dry heat." The corps stayed well-hydrated and didn’t miss a beat.

As has become their day to day approach, the corps and staff used the day very effectively. Rehearsal time was spent making a few planned adjustments to the show followed by a solid run through.

Our facility was something of a drum corps dream, only 2 years old and beautiful. As was the location.
