Corey Smith Named Madison Scouts Tour Director

Corey Smith has been named Tour Director for the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps. As Tour Director, Smith is ultimately responsible for the day-to-day operations for the corps on tour and the safety and well-being of the members, staff and volunteers associated with the Madison Scouts.

“We’re very pleased to have Corey on the Madison Scouts team,” said Executive Director Jeff Spanos. “Corey is a Scouts alumnus (1987-88) and has deep experience in other drum corps and brass ensembles as a performer and instructor that make him enormously qualified for this essential role.” Prior to accepting this position, Corey acquired significant management experience working as a casino manager for a national gaming corporation.
