Following some extremely encouraging discussions recently, where foundations for an excellent future for the Marching Bands and Drum Corps across the UK & Europe were discussed, BYBA are extremely excited about the prospect of working more closely with our European friends at DCE. At the recent British Drum Corps Championships held at Burton Albion Football Ground, heats for the extreme sports drumming event, World’s Fastest Drummer, were held throughout the day with a live "Drum-Off" taking place during the Open Class Olympic Retreat between the highest two placings. The Black Knights from Gravesend are the new champions of Drum Corps United Kingdom. With 92.7 points, their ‘Infinite Knightmares’ program received the highest scores from the judges.
