Impulse announces the audition date for the 2008 Anniversary season will be Sunday December 9th. Check the Impulse website at www.impulseyoutharts.org for times and loacation. All those interested in joining Impulse for their 10th Anniversary season, which includes travel to DCI Finals in Indiana, should attend. What you will need: All participants should wear closed shoes and appropriate clothing for the outdoors as it will be cold in the morning and afternoon. Bring an instrument including: Brass Players - Horns and mouthpieces Field Percussion - Drums, stands, sticks, mallets and pads Cymbals - Cymbals and gloves Front Ensemble - Two pairs of vibe or marimba mallets Color Guard - Rifle, saber and flag. Wear appropriate dance outfit. If you can not make the workshops, but are still interested in trying out for the 5 time DCI Div II / III Finalist, the 2006 Div III World Champion and one of "Americas Most Recognized Drum Corps!" Impulse announces it will offer its first workshop for the 2008 season to be held on November 25th at La Sierra High School, Riverside, CA. All those interested in joining Impulse for their 10th Anniversary season culminating with a trip to Indianapolis, should attend. The November 25th Impulse workshop will be held at La Sierra High School, 4145 La Sierra Avenue, Riverside, CA 92505. Workshops are from 9am to 5pm. Check-in begins at 8:30am. Cost is $50.00 per attendee. Cost includes two workshops and audition fee. All participants should bring their own instruments including: Brass Players - Horns and mouthpieces Field Percussion - Drums, stands, sticks, and pads Front Ensemble - Mallets Color Guard - Rifle and Flag Drum Majors – Attitude! I had the honest and truth felt pleasure of meeting some of the individuals from PIONEER mainly their tour manager and their Drum Major... and I just want to give my sincerely apologies to those who had their items stolen from the high school while their were out show pasadena what a class act PIONEER is.... you proved and displayed the class and strength of Wiscousin and I assure you that only a minor respresentation of Los Angeles acts out in that manner and on behave of Los Angeles and its representatives of the city I would like to apologize and display a sense of responsibility for the actions that took place while your corps was out showing Los Angeles and Pasadena that you were representing Wiscousin and the Irish with the utmost respect and dignity....
