Guard Tech Position Available (Dallas/FT Worth Area)

The McKinney Boyd High School Band is looking for a color guard tech for the 2009 fall marching season. Candidates with strong movement and flag skills is preferred, however all applicants will be considered. The guard tech would be responsible for attending all of summer band camp dates starting on July 27 until August 21. The tech will also need to be available Mon, Tues, and Thurs from 5pm to 7:30pm starting Aug 24 until Nov.

The McKinney Boyd color guard is a very successful and young guard with 24 members. Last year the guard competed in their very first winter guard season and won the Regional A class silver medal along with many top three placements throughout the season. Candidates must be dependable, organized and have experience in dance and all equipment. The guard is well supported by band, administration, and community. Salary is extremely competitive.
