Loving the sound of the hornline..
Ditto. They have a very aggressive sound that works well for them.

Well, I'm on board with PC this year.

This is a much more sophisticated show from Pacific Crest than in previous years. So far, very nice. Like the opener a lot.

I like this show, but it's hard for my brain to get adjusted to the fact this is the Troopers.

That's some clean opening flag work, Vessel!

Am I the only one that hates arrangements of the star spangled banner? Just play it like it's supposed to be played...
I find them offensive.

Just got to the stadium. It's hotter'n blue blazes here. 91 under a cloudless sky. Expecting the drum corps to be hot as well. Go everybody!

I love early season shows when souvie stands have clearance bins. I got a Jagged Line tour shirt for $1!
Oh, and Bluecoats are REALLY good. The show is super entertaining, brass is spectacular, drums much more significant than last year, guard is in late-season form. I really like "The Bluecoats" a lot. The Eleanor Rigby section is a standout. I look forward to seeing them again (and again).

Cadets hornline is powerful, trumpet feature in the fanfare is might impressive. Drums are crazy good. Estancia is REALLY strong, musically. Guard has come a long way since premiere. Corps Mmarch well...when they March. For me, too much flopping and scattering and gnashing of teeth. I don't get the queen story at all. Show was much more entertaining in person than I expected. Musically strong, visually weak (IMO).

Apparently in long, leathery-looking skirts. Okay, then.

Excited to see Spirit!

Sorry to say I'm not sold on Colts' show. So serious. MMs exuding this tough guy/gal look that I don't think works for them. I was much happier with shows the last couple of years, versus this one.

So, Scouts. True, it's not a cutting edge show but that's not their gig. It is a "Madison" show and I respect them for working within their image and stayng true to themselves. Go ahead Scouts, you be you!

Colts next. Lots of flames.

Scouts up next. Still missing some jackets but I like the unis. Head to ankle cream is striking on the green field (black shoes).

Great job by Cincinnati Tradition. Looks like biggest and most prepared group they've ever fielded. Solid growth from these guys.

Well, it's a beautiful evening in Cincinnati. I would post a picture but I can't get logged into the DrumScorps app so you'll have to take my word for it.

I just noticed my ticket states "Monday June 25th." I do hope the show is, in fact, tonight (Tuesday)!

One of my infinitely many Cadets shirts.
Something in a nice maroon.

Ballet Sacra. I made Finals in 93 for the first time when they played this and won DCI.
My favorite Cadets show of all time.

I kinda wish they got rid of the spinning boxes. They don't add much to the show but visual dirt to me.
They're taking them out after tonight. :)
