If you were somebody I might tell you.....
oh, come on.
that's ridiculous. This is DCP, not the White House.
Disagreements are fine, blatent disrespect isn't.

You are welcome to it! I have a feeling that many of us DCP adversaries would get along much better in person.
yeah, no kidding. I have a feeling the internet brings out the worst in us.
anyway, Madison guard?

The drink sounds good to me but our friend isn't old enough yet.
lol! another age joke!
keep them coming!
really though, I hope Madison is doing well. Their guard hasn't been their strong suit in a while, and I'd really like to see that change (not at the expense of the other sections, of course.)
anyone know when they're announcing the show yet?

I am certainly not the most hostile poster on DCP. The problem is whenever someone doesn't think "your" cadets are God's gift to drum corps you get all upset - follow that poster from thread to thread - and nit pick everything they post, good or bad. - Fully understandable considering your age.
the same thing can be said about "your" Scouts.
fully understandable considering YOUR age as well.

why? who was talking about him?
I just thought it was pretty ironic that you were talking about hostile posts when the most hostile poster on this forum was right under your nose.

(YOU SHOULD HAVE SOME MORE TIME UNDER YOUR BELT BEFORE CALLING OUT DRUM CORPS VETS with some 30 years of DCI to back em........)
"gjdavistuba"
Hello all. I am a 15 year old tuba player, and have been playing tuba for about a year. I have recently become VERY interested in drum corps. I love marching and playing music in general, and I am going to be trying out for Carolina Crown in November for the 2006 season. I can play things such as the Holst Suites and other grade 6 material, and i have a good sound. I have a very good work ethic, and would do ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING to be able to march in Crown. Do I honestly have the requirements to be in a corps like Crown? I just really don't know if I have the musical ability required or not to be there. Thanks in advance for your answers/ comments.
-The anonymous tuba player.
I seriously lold at this post.
you should probably figure out what you're talking about before posting something as stupid as this.

I think you should probably read more of BigSnareline's posts.

I'd love to hear Death Hunt.

Yeah, it's ONLY ten dollars, but there's NO WAY I'm forking out 10 bucks to see those shows, even though there's a theater right up I-45 about a mile. I'll take the 10 dollars, go buy a few What-A-Burgers, come back to the house watch the 1980 DCI Championship from Birmingham. DCI's already skating on thin ice with me and they better not pull this "No older shows" Countdown Crape' again next year......
enjoy being bitter.

Phantom to tan
Crossmen to shakos
forgot about that.
those plumes were really ugly too.

I didn't mind Phantom so much with the khaki vest and black sash, but the uni in 2000 was really just bad. The red sash did nothing to help the khaki at all.

Cadets 2005
Very close HMs: Cavaliers 02, Phantom 96, Cadets 98.

07 Cadets.
VERY close HM to Cavies 03, and SCV 98.

93 Phantom.

I am determined to make SCV win one.
2000 SCV.
also, I completely forgot about Cadets 99. This one is very, very difficult.
I'll go with SCV 2000, with Cadets 99 as a very close HM.

I think this will probably end up being the hardest one for me.

this one really is tough.
2003 SCV.
HMs to 07 SCV, 99 Glassmen, 01 Glassmen, and 97 Madison Scouts

haven't read much of this thread yet, so forgive me if this has been mentioned, but for those of you who aren't familiar with it, you should definitely try the Big Red soda. As far as I know, it's only available in Indiana, and whenever I go up, I make sure to get a few cases to last me a while back at home.

Funny how many people said that about Bluecoats last year.
And how did that turn out?
while I don't think Bluecoats should have medaled last year, I do believe they were severely under placed.
They should have been a solid 4th place, IMO.

Bluecoats 2007. Not much of a competition for me on this one.
HM goes to BK 06.
~>conner

for some reason, my first thought was 99 BK.

Unfortunatly this is true. And no one has played a note yet in competition. But the days of shooting up 20 places in 1 year (like 27 in he 70s) are long gone. Programs are rewarded, not performances.
that's ridiculous.
I'd say with the exception of the Bluecoats this past year, the judges got it right. I think programs get rewarded because the consistently put out the best shows, not because of their name.
