Nah... I meant what I said :) And I have nothing wrong with the move because I wont even be here to see this show this summer. I do think that Western should've given a bigger heads up but, these things happen and obviously DCI already has their mind made up and there's really no point in complaining about it because it's a done thing. B)

I played that tune with my college marching band and it was hot then, especially with our 20 mellos, but hearing it drum corps style doesnt even begin to come close to comparing!!!

Oh! Also... liked Crossmen's show, but I think I like Glassmen's (91) version of Appalacian Morning better. Maybe it's because it's the one I heard first? In any case, still interesting to hear how different corps come up with different arrangements of the same tunes.

Lots of cheering & whatnot during the Countdown.... I was glad I didnt have to be the only one!
I thought it was very funny to see the guy with one of the first corps marching a chime set. ha
When I saw Crown 04 live, I wasnt really a fan.... and after seeing it tonight I cant really say my opinion has changed. The only thing that might be a little different is that I've since seen "Rent" and understand the show a little more, but still.... I'm not a fan of amps used for singing purposes... even if it IS good...
BD's and Scouts' hornlines are hot!

oh wow... Just got back home from running errands and I totally wish I would have been back sooner to check out BD's site... The updates are fantastic! I guess they're about as close as it comes to actually being there. heh...

Sigh...O.K. Since I was at neither show, then I really can't say who deserved what. Besides the fact that I'm not particularly happy with how SCV is doing this year, (I still support my Brothers and Sisters wholeheartedly though), I am glad to see other corps coming up in the world. S'bout time actually. Heck, I remember when it was a big thing for US to beat Boston back in the day. Hope they are enjoying this time as well.
'Twill be an interesting Finals, to be sure...
DCP should have more people like you! :)

I'm not going to get into fairness about scoring because I haven't gotten to see SCV at all this summer, but after seeing BAC's show I'm happy for their score tonight! Tonight put them ahead of Crown's latest score as well.... ^_^

222 was a dorm room at my college that would throw some of the best parties attended by many of my fraternity brothers and other music majors. Man..... lots of trashed folks forgot to attend class after those.
Hmm that would be an interesting show concept. "The Day After....drunken dorm stories" We could even use Cadets door and replace the # on it. :)
haha... That would've been the gals across the hall from me my freshman year in college... I was in 221.... darn.. so close....

haha... I was referring to Conor's "I concur" which I am assuming is in reference to scott's "Phantom has done it before" so perhaps I meant that as a double "w/ stupid" haha..... minus the stupid.... :P B)
