Wow, I didn't know they had exact numbers listed. I thought that was like DCI taboo!
My own estimation of paid attendance for 2008 would be around 25k. Memorial Stadium holds 52k. My *guess* is that 32 of the 52 would be in the concert side stands. If that is true, I think 25k is a reasonable (maybe even conservative) number. I saw few holes, except for the very edges. Factoring in corps members, 25k seems realistic to me..maybe even 27k.

Looks like this year is a different ball game - last year 1 - 3 spots were tight as well as 4 - 7 - it doesn't really look like Bluecoats or SCV are able to be contenders for anything higher than 6 and 7 - is that a pretty accurate statement?
Seems that way, but wasn't SCV really far back with 2 weeks to go in '06?

Corps will catch up.
Regiment has potential. Cavs look like they're on a downward slide and the rest of the pack are either plateaued or too far back.
But hey...I'm watching the show through the same crappy pixellated window as everyone else, so what the **** do I know?

Scores look good to me, though I may have put Crown over Vanguard, but they're only a few tenths behind. With this season, there's no shame in getting 7th by a few tenths. The top 7 corps are one of the strongest in a LONG time.
Of course there's shame in getting 7th. It's called Disc 4.

but remember last year bluecoats went from 4th in 1/4's to 6th in semi's and then came back to 4th.
Yeah, I'm beginning to run out of hope, though. Looks like the fix is in and it's finally their year to get railroaded.

It would be nice to see corps just get a number, rather than having to leave space for the top or not leaving space. Ties are ok!

Semis is the #1 reason most people bought the service and the #1 reason most people will/won't subscribe in '08. I was as shocked and dismayed as anyone to see the div 2/3 FUBAR, but the DCI web team knows their butts are on the line on this one and will pull it through.
