What about the Madison Scouts? (Yes i'm biased towards them) but they had an awesome show this year.

well, yeah... they are the 5th best scoring corps right now.

can you forget scores for a minute and just appreciate what these guys are doing? besides scores have nothing to do with the ending of the show, it wouldn't change if it was peeling paint loud or cricket silent, the scores do not reflect the end of the show.

I would like to shake things up a bit.... Here's my vote:
1.Cavaliers - they don't need any more help, do they?
2.Madison Scouts - it seems they usually get voted for one of the last
3.Blue Devils
4.Cadets
5.Phantom Regiment
6.Boston Crusaders
7.Bluecoats
8.Carolina Crown - I truly believe they have an unparalled brass sound this year and would like them to be heard 'after' everyone else for a different comparison.
I really hope that people vote for some corps to go last that don't normally get to and corps to go first that usually go last. This way we can see how much order really does affect scoring. There would be no way for the judges to 'slot' if each corps did not keep getting slightly better throughout a show.
tez my friend, the scouts have gone on as one of the first corps in the past 2 years; their show this year is amazingly designed and energetically executed; they deserve to go on towards the end, if not last then 3rd to last at least. i'm really impressed with all of the shows this year -- 2005 is a great year for drum corps
