Was a huge Crown fan all last year. I get obsessed about 1 or 2 each year. This year its my alma mater. I've seen your disdain for the Coats this year, can you fill us in on why that is (other than "they are dirty")?
I actually LOVE Coats this year. They are my 2nd favorite show this year and I hope they get silver :) I was more just poking at you :)

Hellz yes. The Bluecoats double z-pull ending is worth a 3 1/2 hour drive alone. :)
Have you ever made a post on the internet that is NOT about the Bluecoats? :)

Replay the score announcements people...when Coats score was announced, a fan literally shouted out "I disagree" and then half the audience clapped.
Good thing the fans don't judge the shows I guess, cause they would have gotten it WAY wrong.

I agree Coats were dirty visually, will clean up, then easily take 2nd now. 1st is maybe in reach. I think everyone is kinda shaking their head on the gap between Coats and BD. But it's DCI, nobody seems to care anymore!
Lol, I think you may be the only person shaking your head at that...I LOVE Bluecoats this year, but come on...

If you are using Firefox, do this. I was getting little video pauses and stutters that didn't affect the audio, every 5-10 seconds. Did this and it is gone. For anyone complaining about Fan Network video issues give this a try if you are using Firefox.
This will fix any flash video in Firefox btw...including Youtube. Hope it helps some of you! Thanks!

Question about Bluecoats ... is the trumpet duet supposed to sound terrible, or are they screwing it up every time?
I agree...every show it has sounded pretty godawful to be honest.

Man...I want this show to get silver this year, but they gotta clean the visual package...sooo sloppy. 2nd favorite musical book of the season for me though for sure!

To me that is the most true to the original piece on the field this year, but maybe that's just me.
Technically since Gordon Goodwin wrote the piece specifically for Blue Devils, it is the most true to the orignal piece on the field :)

Cadets and BD tie in GE
No they didn't. They tied in GE 1 sub caption, but BD was first in all captions, including overall GE.

Not sure what it is, but it feels like there is something missing in The Cadets show. I'm not a fan of the large elevated stage in the front. Makes it feel like the corps is just backstage accompaniment. Really not a fan of the narration, but It won't do any good to beat that drum anymore. I will say the narration seems to have been toned down just a bit from earlier in the season.
The Cadets are impressive, but this show isn't really doing much for me. Seem's like that is true about every other year for me with The Cadets. Absolutely adored last year's show ... especially the quiet ending.
Same here. Loved their show last year (minus the box things), but this show feels like I have seen about 20 times before, but better and more exciting.

They gotta put in a new ending soon. That one isn't doing it.
Favorite part of that show for me is the ballad. Good stuff in there.

i'm hearing it too. feed is solid here for the past 45 min or so. brass sounds a little wobbly, FEET, some notes sound tired. weird because they have done better this season (brass).
Yeah, I feel like they have done much better recently. Seems like an off night. Though it is also in a dome which sounds weird to me in general :)
