Making snide comments about other corps, comments like the one above saying there is only one Regiment. I don't appreciate not acknowledging all the other corps with Regiment in the title.

Souvie people making rude comments about other corps. Also making fun of sexual orientation of other members of other corps.

Pretty rude, obnoxious, people involved there. Big reason I haven't spend a dime there since 05. I was hoping to end that this year, but with comments like Rapheal 18, I guess they won't see another cent this year either.

Go River City, 7th, Capital, Lake Eerie, and everyone else with Regiment in their name!!!!

Coming from PR, I know for a fact that we do not believe "we are the only or the true regiment."

Saying that other corps have more class than other corps WITHOUT really knowing that organization is offensive. I support fully all the Regiment corps along everyone else. Good luck to all the corps this year...rock out!

I do not care if Regiment has won all the championships or even none at all...

I still love the corps (even before I marched)

I know there are alot of people who have total faith in THEIR Rockford Corps...

I also know that there are plenty of people that no matter what Regiment does, look at the corps as

"not good enough for a championship" and thats fine.

We performed not for the gold but for crowd, the hearts of the fans, and

for ourselves....everytime.

Everyone has their own opinions....some think that the show was the best show in DCI history...some do not. As far as I am concerned Phantom 2006 was a very good year. The members and staff were great people to be around and work with.

Let's stop bashing corps...no matter if it is PR, Cavies, Southwind, Cadets, etc.... They all went out there and performed the fire out of their respected shows.

It's Daniel Benton during the 98 show. The Bass 5 doesn't seem to have good technique. He just seems to be running. Daniels pic is a textbook of technique. It is the photo is all wanted taken of us when we marched.

So anyone with an opinion different than yours is a plain moron? Are you like in the 3rd grade?

As far as deserving 2nd this year, Blue Devils should have easily had 2nd. The only night Phantom should have been close to(or possibly above)in score to BD would have been Friday night. Blue Devils had a flat performance that night, where as Phantom had their best performance. And on Saturday night, I thought Cadets actually outperformed(even though I wasn't really excited about their show) Phantom. And even though I was rooting for Bluecoats to finally make top 4, I didn't quite think they deserved it either this year. I really thought Vanguard was a little better on Saturday night. So as far as judging I thought the midwest corps actually received a break this year in general. But the reason for this poll is only because a lot of people I have talked to feel like this is 2 years in a row that one of the corps has been overscored.

I personally voted for 4th in 06, and 7th in 05. I see there are actually people who voted for lower placements that I did. So I am obviously not the only one who felt they were overscored both years. I was actually kind of surprised to see some people voted for 8th or lower in 05 though.

Wow....simply wow...listen to that finals CD and try to say Phantom wasnt the best hornline out there...I dare ya ^0^

[Crowd favorites 1987-2006]

You guys that are choosing PR as the 2006 favorite, what are you basing it on? If you're basing it on personal reaction, count me in for PR, too. They're my favorite show of the year, and one of a very few that go down with my favorite shows ever.

But if you're basing it on crowd reaction during finals week, I'd have to say Cavvies. PR's crowd reaction was great, but from where I was sitting, Cavvies' was just a notch higher.

But that was where you were sitting. PR had many standing O's and you could barely hear the announcer before he even said from Rockford, Il. Phantom definately had the crowd won IMO.

Yeah that took me a while to make...it was fun though...the guy did not use the pic of the model with actual working stadium lights.
