  7. My high school did that move my senior year ('05), just those 20 counts and we did it the oposite way (we went right instead of left) and we did the spin...and promtly did the Cavie's '99 diamond cutter...

We did drum corps quotes for the movement, our show was called Punctuat!on, so for the "Quotes" movement, we did just that. We also did the triangle that had the arms spin in that SCV did in '89 at the end of the opener, into the Wedge move mentioned above, Cavies Diamond Cutter, into Cadets Z-Pull from '90 (I believe) and ended with Star's cross-to-cross chaos from '91, except we ended up in our band's logo, an F and C stacked on each other to form a 16th note-looking thing. And we did it rather well. And for each of these moves, we did the music that went with it, so that was pretty sweet as well. :P

thats cool we did the vanguard triangle my junior year.

  8. While re-reading this thread, I had forgot about the time around 1993 when I was at a band competition in Florida, singing to what the band on the field was playing...Midnight in Miami. I said out loud "What the...?"

To my best recollection, the band director, who was short with me, stated that he knew Robert Smith. So, I don't know if any tunes from that show were commercialized or it had once been written for band. *quiver*

im not sure about that but i do know that he arranged a version for the troy sound of the south
