The Organizers realized that there was not going to be a perfect time for everyone so if you cannot
make it then please be there in spirit. Also, nothing stops the sending of a donation to the Scholarship
Fund.

There will be a Memorial Gathering to celebrate the life of Gene Bennett Jr. The man was a teacher, an adjudicator, a mentor, a husand and a father. He touched so many lives that everyone who knew him just want a final farewell. So here's your chance:
It will be held .April 4th at the Upsky Hotel..110 Motor Pkwy, Hauppage, L.I. NY the time will be from 6pm until 10pm...All friends and Family are welcome to attend.
There will be food and beverages available so come and join the Bennett family in paying tribute to Gene's life and legacy. Mrs. Bennett offers sincere apologies to those unable to attend but it is her wish that everyone will be there in heart and spirit. There will also be a Scholarship Fund presented in Gene's name. As I stated for those who wish to donate an amount of your choice to the Gene Bennett Jr. Scholarship Fund may do so at your convenience. The proceeds will be given to a Sachem High School Band Member chosen by Mike Carroll, Band Coordinator and his staff. Gene was very proud of his association with the staff and students of Sachem and often spoke highly of his relationship with them for many years. Please donate to this worthy cause and show your love and respect for this man. Thank you,

Not happy about the streaming problems, have been waiting a long time to see my corps perform and this has been a terrible experience and I'M sure with no financial consideration to loyal fans!!! What did I pay for again???

The Long Island Sunrisers will once again participate in the Famous Holyoke St. Patrick's Day Event!! It is the corps third time participating!!

The rehearsal as well as the exhibition was very successful. The staff as well as the Management team were very satisfied with the Corps progress to date. The Corps next rehearsal is March 9th. Same location in Brentwood, Long Island!!

I've been away for the holiday's and just got home to realize what has happened to my good friend Dick Pronti.
He will surely be missed by all but especially by the Sunrisers whom he showed great love and respect for.

It was awsome and one of the main reasons is that it was MC'd by the two most professional communication
personalities of our time, Fran Haring and Mark Riley. You both led the event to epic proportions. It was a
very memorable evening everything was perfect, the food, the speakers, and the musical entertainment.
Thanks go to everyone who came to pay tribute to this great man. Again, it was just a perfect night.
