  1. I strongly disagree. More like glue stuck to the bottom of my shoe. It may be only 3 minutes, but in my opinion it ruins the whole show. I don't always think narration is bad per se either. It is just terrible and amateurish with this show.

It does seem a little too similar to Kennesaw Mt. High School 2004 in design.

But, the fact of the matter is, for those extra 9 minutes the cadets are laying down some pretty insaine music and drill.

  2. Disgusting: Gross, repulsive, nasty.

thats the context most of you are thinking in.

Disgusting: poor display of character or a defiant action.

    Thats the context he meant.

Thank my own understanding of the english language for that.

and I agree, that is like saying to a member of:

    Phantom: Your drill sucks

....see...I just that as an example btw.

  3. This is not as bad as an indoor drumline I saw at The WGI Nashville regional. The name escapes me right now, but, out of a 7:41 show, the drumline itself only played for 2:31. Thats right, The "guard" that traveled with the line did "most of the talkin". They ended up beating us by like 4 points or somthing stupid. (Finals Scholastic A)

  4. Well, id agree that historically their visual package is not their strong suit, but they always come out with cool stuff that entertains me greatly every year.
Show is gonna need more visual meat to keep hanging in the top
As usual, Phantom's lackluster visual package lands them in 4th visually.

Ladies and germs...I back your statements but...be ready for a barrage of upset Phormer (hinthint) members and extremely biased fans.

    I got clobbered last time.

  5. I totally dug SCV's parking lot warm ups last year. That was as much of a performance as their show was. I think every drum line should treat the lot as a performance venue. Most do, but I remember 94' BD in Boston for Finals...man!!!!! What a gathering there was. I remember thinking that their drum line set new standards for drum lines of the modern era. Same with SCV last year...

'94 BD also had a completely and absolutly SICK snare line. (one of my top Five all time)

    1. 2006 Phantom

    2. 1994 BD

    3. 2004 BD

    4. 2004 Vanguard

    5. 1980 Bridgemen

fyi...thats the top five for me.

But yessuh...Mike Jackson writes a pretty awesome book. (not quite as well as Cassella IMO)

  6. This time last year everyone was sayin "...those blue devils are good with their 83.050....they will win finals." (paraphrased)

    they did'nt.

My point is, scores and placements right now don't mean anything. They're good for keeping track of everyone's progress, but, they can change in a day (like today) and then change again just as quickly.

    go Bloo.
