  1. I probably ask this every year (memory is the first thing to go), but if you go to the DCP Scores and Stats page, select "Corps History" and then show the Overall Score for Crown, Cavies, or Madison (for example) you'll see the scores for the last shows in Bristol or Michigan City in the 50s. But, when you click on those shows, it displays the correct and much higher score. I don't see this for BD, SCV, or Cadets.

What's going on? East Coast deflation?

Also, the "High Scores" chart shows scores for 7/3. Shouldn't Crown be listed with highest overall score of 81.6 instead of Cadets? (Yes, as of a few minutes ago, the new high score is the Cavies with 83.0 for 7/5.)

    Things just seem odd.

    Thanks!

Have you tried checking caption scores? some corps score zero on several captions. In overall unweighted scores half of the corps go missing.

  2. There is an old phrase, "On any given night...;" well, last night SHOULD have been one of those with the Blue Stars on top of SCV if only by tenths.

This past week, if anything, has been shaping a lot of end of the season groupings (minus the Blue Devils) and the Blue Stars and SCV seem to be in thier own little battle.

I just hope for all that is just and right that IF and only IF the Blue Stars continue to progress, clean, and refine thier program that they will reap the rewards in HONEST placement come finals. I said very early in the season that I feel that the Blue Stars have the makings of a 6th or 7th place corps this year and have been very critical of them at times.

Yes, SCV is putting out quite a difficult production with their Bartok show; but last night, the Blue Stars have shown that they are ready to take them on and should have been rewarded in placement.

    This :worthy:

  4. You make me laugh, and Im not even being negative. You are the "expert" in Brass, visual, guard, percussion, GE, etc......when it comes to Blue Stars,

Some people on this forum have actually been around drum corps in several functions and for quite some time, making for rather well educated insights.

    to the Bozzman

  5. candy .... thin string of something like taffy and coated in Nerds rock candies.

It was one of my son's food staples and bartering supplies when he was on tour.

Great playing throughout. Well thought out design and followed through to field. Easy to get but yet lots to see on 1 read so it's enjoyable to watch over and over.

    Great job Stars.

thanks for the play by play. Keep it coming please

  8. This must be by far the easiest way to get a lot of money pumped into the activity.

We always go on about how much we care for our corps, and that it all gets so expensive. Well here's your chance to show your loyalty. There's lots of us here, so let's do the right thing and vote. And don't be scared to invite your friends to vote. I invited lots of friends and they voted not having a clue about drum corps, but they did it anyway.

No strings attached. Just do it!
