John Adams is considered a post-minimalist. Short Ride is the perfect example. The piece is less about the process, however it still contains some minimalist aspects such as the constant pulse.

Remember when we had the Cadets 05/06 discussion that involved use of drill photos and analyzing things? Well it would be nice to have more of that intelligent discussion instead of mindless bickering about whatever Hrothgar says. Just an idea.

I've been reading about the music they've rehearsed and it sounds like it will be very challenging and interesting. I'm sure it's something we can all appreciate and enjoy.

I'll be clapping for the fact that there's no vocal amplification (which is exactly what I did with Cavaliers, Regiment, Vangaurd, etc. last year) AND for some amazing music and drill (which is exactly what I did with Cavaliers, Regiment, Vangaurd, etc. last year).
